Joe Corral – flute, Frank Smith – sax/flute, Charles Lewis – piano, Dwight Kilian – bass, Lewis Nash – drums, Steve Banks – percussion. Few names in the jazz community command more respect than Charles Lewis, the first jazz-category inductee of the Arizona Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame. And over the last 40 years, Lewis Nash has established himself as “the most valuable player in Jazz” (Modern Drummer Magazine). The original Charles Lewis Quintet Plus One goes back to 1974 – when it not only performed in Valley clubs, but engaged elementary School kids in interactive performances in Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa, as well as towns throughout Arizona, and Indian Reservations throughout state for the Bureau of Indian Affairs...
